Veterinary care at home for Ellenbrook pets

An Ellenbrook home visit gives Dr Noor time to hear the history, examine your pet and see the surroundings in which the problem is happening. You can point out changes in appetite, drinking, movement, sleep, toileting or behaviour while medicines, previous results and food products are close at hand. Dr Noor then explains his findings and the available next steps.

Illness and health examinationsRequest an assessment for vomiting, coughing, reduced appetite, low energy, pain, urinary changes or another concern.
Wounds, skin, ears and eyesSeek help for cuts, sore paws, itching, rashes, uncomfortable ears, eye changes and related problems.
Vaccinations and preventive careArrange health checks and routine vaccination in the familiar surroundings of your home.
Same-day and urgent concernsSend the details when a problem begins suddenly or an existing condition becomes more troublesome.
Senior-pet and comfort careDiscuss mobility, pain, chronic illness, nursing support and quality of life where your pet normally rests.
Home euthanasia careReceive calm and respectful veterinary support when your family is preparing to say goodbye.

Ellenbrook parks, daily routines and useful observations

The City of Swan lists several dog exercise areas in Ellenbrook, including Mornington Park, Charlie Gregorini Memorial Reserve and Ellenbrook District Open Space. After a walk or active play, owners may first notice a limp, tender paw, damaged nail, wound, itch or unusual tiredness once the pet is back at home.

Before Dr Noor arrives, take a short video if the problem appears during walking, rising, using stairs or settling after exercise. A few clear photographs can also record how a skin change, swelling or wound looks over time. During the visit, your pet can be observed moving across the flooring and spaces it uses every day.

Ellenbrook now has a rail station and busy town-centre routes around The Parkway and Main Street. If traffic, school activity, apartment access or a shared driveway may affect arrival, include the easiest parking place, gate and entrance in the booking request.

A practical option for cats, older pets and busy households

For a cat that dislikes the carrier and car, the home appointment can begin in one secure room without a waiting-room experience. An older dog can stay close to its normal bed and walking surface, avoiding extra lifting and allowing Dr Noor to see how it stands, turns and settles in familiar surroundings.

Home care can also simplify a day built around commuting, work, school or caring for several pets. Family members can show the exact change they have noticed, and other animals can remain safely in a separate room until needed. When more than one pet requires attention, name every pet in the initial request so time and supplies can be planned.

Ellenbrook home-visit pricing

The current weekday fee for one pet, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, is $175. This includes travel to your Ellenbrook address, Dr Noor’s examination and the care plan. More pets, another time category, priority timing, handling needs, medicines, tests or procedures can change the total.

See the current XCura pricing page. Any applicable additional fee and expected charges are explained before confirmation.

Requesting an Ellenbrook appointment

  1. Send the online request with your Ellenbrook address, preferred time, pet details and a clear description of the concern.
  2. Dr Noor triages the sickest pets first and plans the route around urgency, location and the appointments already arranged.
  3. XCura sends the proposed arrival window and any preparation instructions for your pet.
  4. No payment is taken in the initial form. A secure payment link is sent once the appointment has been organised.
  5. At the visit, Dr Noor completes the examination and explains the findings, choices and expected costs.

Preparing your Ellenbrook home

  • Add clear parking, driveway, gate, apartment, stairs and entry instructions to the booking request.
  • Bring dogs inside and have a lead ready before the expected arrival window.
  • Place cats in a small secure room 15–20 minutes before arrival so they cannot hide outdoors or under furniture.
  • Choose a quiet area with good light and place medicine packets, reports, test results, photographs and videos nearby.
  • Include every pet that needs attention in the original form.
  • Tell XCura beforehand about previous bites, defensive behaviour, difficult handling, infection concerns or another safety issue.

Urgent and same-day vet requests in Ellenbrook

If your pet becomes unwell suddenly, send the first symptom, when it began and what has changed since. A brief video of breathing, walking, coughing or unusual movement and clear photographs of a wound, eye, ear or skin problem can help Dr Noor triage the request.

Ellenbrook owners may request urgent help for vomiting, diarrhoea, pain, lameness, wounds, broken nails, eye or ear concerns, coughing, restlessness, trouble urinating, unusual behaviour or worsening of a known condition.

For an immediate life-threatening emergency, travel directly to an open veterinary hospital.

We are forever grateful for the skill and compassionate care Dr Noor gave our beautiful girl (and us). With his ongoing support and oversight to ensure her comfort we had a further 10 days with her before we had to say goodbye. With our deepest thanks and appreciation to this most amazing vet.

Dr Noor is wonderful. My senior lab x mastiff, Sunny, was in pain and struggling to put weight through her back legs. I sent a request for a home visit late at night for the following morning. I received a response immediately and was booked in the next day. Dr Noor arrived within the allotted time and was so patient with Sunny who is anxious around new people. He was incredibly thorough in his examination and had all medications that Sunny needed to keep her comfortable with him. I was so impressed with the service provided and Dr Noor’s care for Sunny. New favourite vet! Would definitely recommend.

Highly rate Dr Noor. He was very kind and gentle with my 10 week old Puppy’s ear infection and helped her recover. She was a squirmy patient but Dr Noor was very patient with her and took the time to answer any questions I had. She was excited to see him again on the second visit so that is a big tick of approval!

Dr. Noor arrived in a timely manner to look after our groodle Toffee after making the booking on the same day. The booking system was easy and efficient. He took time to get to know our timid dog, working to gain her trust. We loved Dr. Noor's patience, kindness and all the time making it as stress-free for Toffee as possible. We will most definitely be re-booking with Dr. Noor with all our vet visits going forward. Highly recommend his professional services to anyone looking for a mobile vet.

Dr Noor is so incredibly kind, patient and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pet. If he is ever late for your appointment it’s only because he’s had to prioritise an emergency which means if your pet is ever in a similar situation you know he’ll do everything within his capacity to be their for them as promptly as possible, which is a really comforting thought.
