Home veterinary help for Rivervale pets

Use the booking request to set out the change you have noticed and what makes travel difficult for your pet. At the home appointment, Dr Noor can see how your pet settles in its own space and work from the medicines, prior reports and videos you have ready. For an apartment, townhouse or house, clear entry details allow the visit to start at the right door with the equipment needed.

Sudden illness and health changesDescribe changes in appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, pain, energy, urination or normal behaviour, and say when each change first appeared.
Wounds, paws, skin and earsAsk for an assessment of a sore paw, split nail, cut, lump, rash, itch or ear concern. A clear photo before the visit can be useful if the area changes quickly.
Vaccinations and routine health careBook a health check and vaccination for a young, adult or older pet without arranging a separate trip to a waiting room.
Urgent and same-day concernsFor a problem that is changing, provide the first sign, the current sign and any treatment already given so XCura can triage the request.
Sample collection and selected diagnosticsBring any relevant sample history and discuss blood, urine or other collection; selected testing may be performed at home or through a laboratory.
Senior, palliative and end-of-life careTalk through pain, mobility, long-term illness, home nursing and quality-of-life decisions where your pet is most familiar.

Exercise notes for Rivervale dogs

The City of Belmont lists Copley Park, Cracknell Park, Jack Ring Park, Lions Park, Mozart Mews Park and Wilson Park in Rivervale as off-leash areas. It requires dogs to be on a leash in carparks, at least 5 metres from playgrounds and active sports, and under control at all times. Dogs are not permitted on the Wilson Park netball courts.

After exercise, check for limping, repeated paw licking, a damaged nail, a wound, grass seeds, itching, coughing or unusual tiredness. Note which park or route you used, when the change began and whether it improved or worsened after rest.

A short video of walking, standing, breathing or scratching can help show a sign that is less obvious by the appointment. Tell Dr Noor about contact with other animals, a fall, fast running, unfamiliar food or anything already used to clean or treat the area.

Preparing access at Rivervale homes and apartments

ABS QuickStats for Rivervale records a mix of separate houses, townhouses or semi-detached homes, and flats or apartments. This makes access information useful before a home visit, especially in a complex with a shared entry or visitor-parking rules.

Please include the building or complex name, unit number, correct entrance, intercom, visitor bay, lift and any loading directions. At a house, tell XCura about a side gate, front steps, narrow path or street-parking constraint. These details help the visit start calmly and let equipment be carried safely to the examination space.

Before the arrival window, bring dogs inside and move cats to a quiet, secure room. Keep other pets separate until they are needed, particularly where a shared foyer, driveway or open front door could create an escape risk.

Meet Dr Noor at your Rivervale home

Dr Noor founded XCura and is the veterinarian who comes to your appointment. He begins by clarifying the timeline, watches how your pet is coping in its normal environment, performs the examination and talks through the information that matters for the next decision.

That discussion may lead to treatment, medication, a sample, selected diagnostic testing, a plan to monitor at home, follow-up or referral. You can read Dr Noor’s professional background before making a request.

Costs for a Rivervale home appointment

The current weekday one-pet fee is $175, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The total can differ for multiple pets, other times, priority timing, additional handling, medicines, tests or procedures.

Check the current XCura pricing page. Any applicable additional fee and expected charges are explained before confirmation.

Send a useful Rivervale visit request

  1. Start the booking form with your pet’s details, Rivervale address, preferred time and the change you need assessed.
  2. For a rapidly changing concern, set out the order of events and anything already given. XCura uses that information to triage (decide how urgently care is needed) while planning the route.
  3. Add the entry route for your property, including a visitor bay, shared foyer, gate or lift where relevant.
  4. After the appointment is organised, XCura sends an arrival window, preparation details and a secure payment link; no payment is taken in the first request form.
  5. Dr Noor arrives, examines your pet and explains the findings, the available options and their expected cost.

Set up your home for the Rivervale visit

  • Name the route from the street to your pet: building, unit, entry, intercom, lift, stairs, gate, visitor space and any narrow passage.
  • Bring dogs inside ahead of the arrival window and have a lead ready, particularly if the property has a shared entry or open parking area.
  • Give a cat a small secure room 15–20 minutes beforehand, away from the entry door and places where it can hide.
  • Choose a bright, quiet area for the examination and set aside medications, past records, results, photographs and videos.
  • If the concern followed a walk, identify the park or route and what happened during the outing; do not assume the location caused the problem.
  • Tell XCura before arrival about a bite history, defensive behaviour, handling difficulty, infection risk or another safety issue.

Rivervale urgent-care requests

Start an urgent request with what you can see now, then add the first sign, its timing and any medicine or first aid already used. A short phone video is particularly helpful for an intermittent limp, breathing change, scratching episode or behaviour that is difficult to describe from a townhouse or apartment.

Request timely help for problems such as vomiting, diarrhoea, pain, limping, a wound, broken nail, sore eye or ear, coughing, restlessness, urinary change, unusual behaviour or deterioration in a long-term condition. State whether the problem followed an outing at one of Rivervale’s dog-exercise areas, a fall, handling or another event.

For an immediate life-threatening emergency, travel directly to an open veterinary hospital.

We are forever grateful for the skill and compassionate care Dr Noor gave our beautiful girl (and us). With his ongoing support and oversight to ensure her comfort we had a further 10 days with her before we had to say goodbye. With our deepest thanks and appreciation to this most amazing vet.

Dr Noor is wonderful. My senior lab x mastiff, Sunny, was in pain and struggling to put weight through her back legs. I sent a request for a home visit late at night for the following morning. I received a response immediately and was booked in the next day. Dr Noor arrived within the allotted time and was so patient with Sunny who is anxious around new people. He was incredibly thorough in his examination and had all medications that Sunny needed to keep her comfortable with him. I was so impressed with the service provided and Dr Noor’s care for Sunny. New favourite vet! Would definitely recommend.

Highly rate Dr Noor. He was very kind and gentle with my 10 week old Puppy’s ear infection and helped her recover. She was a squirmy patient but Dr Noor was very patient with her and took the time to answer any questions I had. She was excited to see him again on the second visit so that is a big tick of approval!

Dr. Noor arrived in a timely manner to look after our groodle Toffee after making the booking on the same day. The booking system was easy and efficient. He took time to get to know our timid dog, working to gain her trust. We loved Dr. Noor's patience, kindness and all the time making it as stress-free for Toffee as possible. We will most definitely be re-booking with Dr. Noor with all our vet visits going forward. Highly recommend his professional services to anyone looking for a mobile vet.

Dr Noor is so incredibly kind, patient and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pet. If he is ever late for your appointment it’s only because he’s had to prioritise an emergency which means if your pet is ever in a similar situation you know he’ll do everything within his capacity to be their for them as promptly as possible, which is a really comforting thought.

Questions about Rivervale home visits

Can XCura visit a Rivervale apartment, townhouse or house?

Yes. Rivervale is within XCura’s Perth service area. Use the booking request to provide the address, entry route and preferred time, including a unit number or shared-access detail where needed.

What makes access information useful for my visit?

It lets XCura locate your pet without delay and bring equipment through the practical route. Include the complex name, entrance, unit, parking arrangement, intercom, lift, gate, stairs, loading rule or narrow section.

What should I record after my dog uses a Rivervale exercise area?

Note the City of Belmont park or route, activity, surface, contact with other animals and when the sign began. A video showing your dog getting up, walking, breathing or scratching can add useful detail if the sign is intermittent.

What is the weekday price for one Rivervale pet?

The current weekday one-pet fee is $175 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pricing page explains multiple-pet visits, other times and possible additional charges.

Can I request a same-day visit?

Yes, we usually have same day availability. However, due to our high case load, we need to triage and see the sickest pets (which may be yours) sooner than the others who can wait. XCura reviews your pet’s needs, the travel route, access, and remaining capacity before confirming an arrival window.

What information helps with an urgent Rivervale request?

Send a short timeline: what first changed, what is happening now, whether it is worsening and what you have already given. Attach a photograph or video when it shows the problem more clearly than a written account.
