Why a home visit can help pets in Bayswater

For many Bayswater pets, the hardest part of a veterinary appointment starts before the examination. Cats may become distressed by carriers and car travel, older dogs can find lifting and transport uncomfortable, and busy or multi-pet households may struggle to coordinate a clinic visit. A home consultation removes the waiting room and allows Dr Noor to observe the pet where it normally eats, rests and moves.

Bayswater’s riverside recreation also creates practical reasons for home care. After a walk at Riverside Gardens, an owner may notice limping, a minor wound, skin irritation or unusual tiredness. The pet can be assessed at home without another journey. A home visit can also be valuable for senior pets, anxious cats and families considering palliative or end-of-life care.

Meet the veterinarian who will visit your home

Your visit is provided by Dr Noor, founder and attending veterinarian of XCura Mobile Vet. He reviews your pet’s history, examines the pet in its normal environment, explains likely causes and discusses the practical options and expected costs.

Medication, selected diagnostics, referral and follow-up can be arranged as part of your pet’s care. Read more about Dr Noor’s professional background.

Fees and booking in Bayswater

The current standard weekday home visit, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, is listed as $175 for one pet. This includes travel, assessment and care planning. Multi-pet, weekend, after-hours, priority timing, handling, medicines, tests or procedures can change the total.

Check the current XCura pricing page. Any applicable additional fee and expected charges are explained before confirmation.

How requesting a visit works

  1. Send the online request with your pet’s details, the concern, your Bayswater address and preferred time.
  2. XCura triages your pet’s needs and arranges visits according to urgency, location, route and availability.
  3. You receive confirmation, an arrival window and preparation instructions.
  4. A secure payment link is provided before the visit. No payment is taken in the initial request form.
  5. Dr Noor attends, examines your pet and discusses options and costs before additional treatment.

Preparing for the home visit

  • Bring dogs indoors and keep them on lead.
  • Place cats in a small, quiet room 15–20 minutes before arrival.
  • Choose a quiet, well-lit examination space.
  • Have current medicines, records, test results and useful photographs or videos ready.
  • Include parking, gate, stairs, lift and access instructions in the request.
  • Tell XCura beforehand about aggression, bite risk, infectious-disease concerns or other safety issues.

Urgent and same-day mobile vet visits in Bayswater

If your pet suddenly becomes unwell or you consider the problem urgent, request a mobile vet home visit. Dr Noor reviews the details, prioritises cases according to clinical urgency and advises the next step.

Many sudden concerns can be assessed at home, including vomiting, diarrhoea, limping, wounds, broken nails, eye or ear concerns, coughing, pain, restlessness or unusual behaviour, urinary changes and flare-ups of known conditions.

For an immediate life-threatening emergency, travel directly to an open veterinary hospital.

We are forever grateful for the skill and compassionate care Dr Noor gave our beautiful girl (and us). With his ongoing support and oversight to ensure her comfort we had a further 10 days with her before we had to say goodbye. With our deepest thanks and appreciation to this most amazing vet.

Dr Noor is wonderful. My senior lab x mastiff, Sunny, was in pain and struggling to put weight through her back legs. I sent a request for a home visit late at night for the following morning. I received a response immediately and was booked in the next day. Dr Noor arrived within the allotted time and was so patient with Sunny who is anxious around new people. He was incredibly thorough in his examination and had all medications that Sunny needed to keep her comfortable with him. I was so impressed with the service provided and Dr Noor’s care for Sunny. New favourite vet! Would definitely recommend.

Highly rate Dr Noor. He was very kind and gentle with my 10 week old Puppy’s ear infection and helped her recover. She was a squirmy patient but Dr Noor was very patient with her and took the time to answer any questions I had. She was excited to see him again on the second visit so that is a big tick of approval!

Dr. Noor arrived in a timely manner to look after our groodle Toffee after making the booking on the same day. The booking system was easy and efficient. He took time to get to know our timid dog, working to gain her trust. We loved Dr. Noor's patience, kindness and all the time making it as stress-free for Toffee as possible. We will most definitely be re-booking with Dr. Noor with all our vet visits going forward. Highly recommend his professional services to anyone looking for a mobile vet.

Dr Noor is so incredibly kind, patient and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pet. If he is ever late for your appointment it’s only because he’s had to prioritise an emergency which means if your pet is ever in a similar situation you know he’ll do everything within his capacity to be their for them as promptly as possible, which is a really comforting thought.
